Season 2015/16

The Tale of the Magic Flute

from the opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

A show that is simple yet poetic will teach children and adults about one of the most important masterpieces in the history of musical theater. Two actors and six singers will recount the initial journey of the love story between Tamino and Pamina. They will pass through the realms of light and dark, represented by Sarastro and the Queen of the Night. At their side is the man/bird Papageno: in the end he will encounter his companion, Papagena. Elements of fairy tales and Masonic symbols are united in a fun and marvelous story.
