Daisy Miller

by Peter Bogdanovich

The protagonist is a young American girl, whimsical and unconventional, traveling in Europe with his mother, a wayward brother and the butler. In Italy, she attends high society, gives scandal with her reckless behavior, she falls ill and dies in Rome. Year is 1878. From Henry James' novel of the same name, Bogdanovich create a film seemingly superficial as aesthetically refined and psychologically intriguing. And Cybill Shepherd is a perfect Daisy Miller.
