Since September 2014, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino has a new home: the Opera di Firenze, the great theater that is located next to the Stazione Leopolda, the gateway to the Cascine Park. His final opening represents a tremendous opportunity for cultural growth for our city that must involve all its inhabitants, even the youngest and the smallest.
For this reason, most of the intense activity that every year the theater dedicated to schools and the training of new public will take place just at the Opera di Firenze. Through performances of the season, the productions specifically made for guys and many educational initiatives that you will find on the following pages, students and teachers will have the opportunity to begin to attend and learn about the new theater: its place in the city, the spaces of socialization, the extraordinary acoustics of the hall, the technical possibilities of the stage.
Music education, cultural education in the fundamental of each of us, so will go hand in hand with the discovery of a theater that will become part of the daily life of Florentine citizens of tomorrow, a place to attend performances of opera, concerts and ballets, but also a place to spend leisure time, walking sull’antistante Piazza Vittorio Gui, maybe reading a good book or listening beautiful music.
