WHAT IS OPERA FOR EVERYBODY – OPERA PER TUTTI?
We at the Opera di Firenze – Maggio Musicale Fiorentino want to make opera accessible to everyone, everywhere to ensure that opera continues to have a voice throughout future generations.
Our Kickstarter project, Opera for Everybody, calls upon audiences across the globe to take part in our mission of launching opera into the 21st century.
Your support will help us on three crucial fronts:
- On the digital front, we plan to live stream every single opera/musical event that we produce;
- On the production front, we will seek collaborations with great artists from a wide range of genres, pushing the boundaries of what opera can be and what an opera house can host;
- On the education front, we will nurture a new generation of young operatic talents, creative people and performers.
This is an opportunity for opera to have a renaissance within our culture. With your support, it can be one with bravado!
