"It's a bit like life: it begins lightly with the strings, beats like an embryo in the womb and passes through repetitions and transformations”: this is how the German composer Moritz Eggert describes Pulse, commissioned by the Munich Philharmonic and directed by Zubin Mehta at the premiere in Monaco of Bavaria on November 17, 2011. The program also includes the intense Schubert' Symphony n. 8, the famous Unfinished Symphony, and the Piano Concerto n.2 by Johannes Brahms, one of the most extensive and important work of the German composer.
