Stefania Neonato, vincitrice del Concorso Internazionale per Fortepiano Musica Antiqua di Bruges, in questo sesto appuntamento presenta pagine eccezionali quali la Sonata n. 17, soprannominata La Tempesta in riferimento alla commedia di Wiliam Shakespeare alla quale sembrerebbe ispirata, e la Sonata n. 21 dedicata al Conte Waldstein, protettore del musicista.

STEFANIA NEONATO
Born in Trento, she graduated in piano at her town’s Conservatory and received a BA degree in Foreign Languages at Trento University. She went on studying piano with Alexander Lonquich and Riccardo Zadra. Stefania Neonato got her Fortepiano Master Degree at the Imola International Academy under Stefano Fiuzzi and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Historical Performance Practice under Malcolm Bilson at Cornell University – New York. In 2007 she got top prize and Audience Prize at the International Fortepiano Competition “Musica Antiqua” in Bruges. She plays at some of the most important Early Music Festivals (Bruges –Van Vlaanderen, Graz – Styriarte, Nantes – Printemps des Arts, Rovereto – Mozart Festival, Bruxelles – Klarafestival, Festival Alte Musik Knechtsteden) and concert seasons (Münster – Erbdrostenhof, Bologna – Accademia Filarmonica, Brescia – Teatro Grande, Firenze – Accademia B. Cristofori, Padova – Amici della Musica, Madrid – Juan March Foundation). Her piano collection includes an 1819 fortepiano Conrad Graf, a replica of an 1805 Walter u. Söhne by Paul McNulty (2008), an 1827 Böhm, a Pleyel and an Erard of 1853 and a 1919 Steinway & Sons.
