The greats interpreted by the greats: the evening's program includes a series of performances and tributes to great composers: the readings of Bach, Wagner and Verdi performed by Liszt intervenes on themes enriching them trough virtuosity and piano sonorities.

PAOLO RESTANI
Born in La Spezia in 1967, he was the last student of Vincenzo Vitale, and continued his studies with Piero Rattalino, Aldo Ciccolini and Vladimir Aškenazi,and studied composition with Paolo Arcà and Bruno Bettinelli. At twelve he gave his first recital and after his debut at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in 1983, he has worked with conductors including Riccardo Muti, Roberto Abbado, Gustav Kuhn, John Neschling and Daniel Oren. With a predilection for Franz Liszt, Romanticism and early Twentieth-century, he is interested in combining various art forms and works with Carla Fracci, Sylvie Guillem, Enrico Maria Salerno and Chiara Muti. In 2005 the Association of Argentina Critics recognized him as the best classical interpreter of the year.
