Monica Leone and Michele Campanella began playing together as teacher and student before, partners in music and in life then. The evening's program begins with the Contrapunctus XIX and the Contrapuntal Fantasy by Ferruccio Busoni that pays homage explicitly the Art of Fugue by Bach.

DUO PIANISTICO LEONE CAMPANELLA
Formed by Monica Leone and Michele Campanella: student and teacher before, then partners on stage and in life. Both grew up with the teachings of Vincenzo Vitale and are now teachers at the University Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples. They perform works for four hands or two pianos, with a repertoire ranging from the compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach to those of Béla Bartók. Among the many concert halls where they have performed are the Sydney Opera House, the Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires, the Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia di Roma and the Teatro Filarmonico di Verona.
