The Ride of the Valkyries: one of the most famous symphonic pieces in the world will close the concert by Gustavo Dudamel with the Berliner Philharmoniker. A programme dedicated to German music, which will begin with the symphony Renana by Robert Schumann, a masterpiece of heroic romanticism, to then move on, in the second part, to a series of pieces by Wagner. The epic “Entry of the Gods into Valhalla”, the Einzug der Götter in Walhall, paves the way for Siegfried’s “Rhine Journey” and the Funeral March from the Götterdämmerung.
