Together with letters written by the soldiers and partisans involved in the fight for liberty, a number of the most famous songs which echoed on the various fronts as well as in the mountains and valleys during the Resistance will be performed. The programme includes a rarity: the short poem in ottava rima, La tragedia della Paganini, dedicated to the mysterious shipwreck of the Italian motor vessel which exploded off the shores of Durazzo on 28 June 1940, and which caused the deaths of more than two hundred soldiers, the majority of who were Tuscan.
