In Elio's fantasy wood there's a bird, a duck and a cat with little Peter and, but one day comes a wolf. The musical tale by Sergej Prokof'ev comes to life with the Orchestra of the Maggio Musicale conducted by Zubin Mehta and a great narrator, Elio.
In the second part of the evening there's the Symphony no. 1 of Gustav Mahler.

Sergej Sergeevič Prokof'ev Peter and the wolf
Elio was born on the outskirts of Milano. When still a young boy, he and his family moved to another neighborhood – but still on the outskirts of Milano. Many years later he would move away from Milano, but not far. Then, after a few years, he returned to the Milano area, in the same neighborhood he’d first lived in as a boy. From there, he moved downtown. Milano, birthplace of Elio, was also the city where he attended school – elementary, middle, the Einstein High School of Science, Engineering School at the University of Milano (which he took his time finishing), and onto the Milano City School of Music (where he played the flute) and the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, where he successfully earned his diploma. True, Verdi was born in Busseto, and not in Milano, like Elio. But, of course, there is no comparison. Elio also enjoyed playing soccer with various club teams until he was 18, when he switched to baseball – which he still enjoys to this day. He did required military service in 1986-1988. Since 1979 he’s worked to make his dream band Elio e le Storie Tese a reality
