Beethoven / Mozart / Cherubini

The cycle Beethoven and its time has some great chamber music masterpieces by Beethoven along with other significant works of musicians who exercised their influence over him, like Mozart, or who were friends with the latter. The Florentine Luigi Cherubini was admired by Beethoven, who in a letter of 1823 wrote: "I consider your work above all other works of theater. I rest enchanted every time I hear a new work and your participation will take more of my own: in short I honor and love you. You will remain forever among my contemporaries that I respect more".
