Through the diary of the Tuscan infantryman Ubaldo Baldinotti, who fought his Great War on the Karst Plateau before being taken prisoner the day after the defeat at Caporetto, and a number of the most popular songs sung by our soldiers on the front, will revoke various dramatic moments from the personal history of Baldinotti without rhetoric, but with strong emotional tones. Moments which are common to many of his comrades in arms: the battles, the horrors of death, the retreat, prison, humiliation, hunger, but also the joy of the end of war and the longed-for return home. A fascinating presentation, made even more emotional by music.
